Secretary II - SCA 01312

Location: Lexington Park, MD

Minimum Clearance Required: Secret

Salary: $23 - 26 per hour

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position necessitates an active U.S. Government Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens are not eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, and illegal drug use.

As a Secretary II - SCA 01312, you will be responsible for administrative and secretarial support by performing a variety of clerical and office management functions. While working under minimal supervision, you will be required to demonstrate knowledge of office procedures, and utilize office automation software to support organizational and mission requirements.

Who You Are and What You Need:



  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an office or administrative environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate conference rooms, and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience planning and supporting employee engagement activities, office events, and workplace initiatives
  • Knowledge of office security procedures and experience supporting facility access control processes
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance



What You Will Do:



  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors, ensuring professional and courteous interactions.
  • Support facility and organizational security by controlling visitor access, maintaining visitor logs, issue badges, and enforce established security protocols. Assist in safeguarding employees, information, and company assets by maintaining situational awareness and coordinating with security and facility management personnel as needed.
  • Support office operations by assisting with the planning and execution of meetings, employee engagement activities, and corporate events.
  • Manage front desk operations, including handling incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Support administrative activities such as document preparation, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Provide logistics support, including ordering office supplies, tracking inventory, and maintaining office organization.
  • Design and schedule monthly lobby screen content to enhance the visitor and employee experience.
