LVN - Systemwide Resource Services - San Diego

This is a benefited, fulltime position generally working Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed with varied shifts between the hours of 7am-7pm. Located at various Scripps campuses. You will receive the Scripps Systemwide Resource Services (SSRS) Differential due to the travelling nature of this position within this department.

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will:

• Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families and document patient interactions.

• Practice infection control and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.

Required Qualifications:

• Current California LVN license
• American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of outpatient experience as LVN or LPN
• Experience in an outpatient setting
