Cryptography Engineer

The Opportunity:

As a cryptography engineer, you'llwork with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Space Forceon cryptographicstrategies thatwill sustainand evolvethenext generationof Resilient Missile Warningand Tracking(RWMT), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM).You will workwithcross-functional and cross-organizationalcrypto, cyber, and commandteams onnew and novel approachestocryptographic solutions and architecturesthat willinform senior leadershipon critical security decisionsrelevantto the protectionofnationalsecurity. You Have:

• 5+ yearsofexperiencecollaborating withcybersecurityteamsand network administrators
• 3+ years of experiencewith processes toprocureand manage Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI),or developingor evaluatingcryptographic requirementsfor spaceorterrestrial cryptography
• Experienceworking with COMSEC teams
• Knowledge ofcryptographicmodernizationstrategies for legacy and future devices
• Knowledge of cryptographic architectures
• Abilitytobrief senior-level government officials
• TS/SCIclearance
• Bachelor's degree
• DoD 8140IntermediateCertification such asSecurity+,GSEC,or SSCPCertification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with space-based remote sensing systems
• Experience managing secure voice devices, network encryptors, link encryptors, secure remote access devices, hard disk encryptors, and Tier 3 management devices
• Experience managing organizational mission assurance or risk management planning, training, and exercise programs
• Experience withUSAFor USSF cryptographic systems
• Knowledge of network engineering, design, or principles
• Knowledgeof cryptographic contract requirements
• Ability to recommendactionable contractlanguage
• Master's degree inEngineering, Information Systems,orCybersecurity
• DoD 8140AdvancedCertification such asCISSP, CISM,GCIA, or GDSACertification
