Responsibilities:



  • As a Shift Supervisor you will support operational excellence and strive to consistently exceed customer expectations
  • Take the lead, with responsibilities that range from assisting customers to supporting the sports book team
  • Inspire associates to have fun while delivering a great guest experience
  • Work as a team player with a passion for continuous learning
  • Provide recognition and constructive feedback throughout the shift as appropriate
  • Establish a culture of excellent customer service
  • Professionally and promptly, respond to all customer concerns or issues
  • Efficiently resolve conflicts among associates and between customers and associates
  • Enforce compliance with safety policies and regulations
  • Communicate with upper management regarding operations and personnel
  • Building sales and profits by promoting Guest satisfaction and managing restaurant operations
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • As a Shift Supervisor/Cashier you will be required to use and navigate a POS terminal to assist in writing the customers requested bet ticket.
  • Be able to explain and assist the customers in answering any betting related questions.

        Qualifications
        Experience
        Occasional nights, weekends, and holidays (preferred)
        Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in a work environment that is frequently faced paced and noisy. (preferred)
        Regularly required to see, hear, talk, bend, twist, stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms (preferred)
        Frequently required to lift up to a maximum of 30 pounds (preferred)
        Must work safely, following all established safety rules and regulations (preferred)
        Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate attire (preferred)
        Must be able to successfully pass a background check. (preferred)
        Must possess the ability to report to work on time as scheduled (preferred)
        Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed (preferred)
        Able to obtain regulatory credentials from the Illinois Gaming Board (preferred)
        Perform assigned tasks calmly, quickly, and accurately in a high-stress, time-sensitive environment (preferred)
        Speak, read and write English. (preferred)
        Be able to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations (preferred)
        Possess good verbal and written communication skills (preferred)
        Possess good customer service and leadership skills (preferred)
        Must pass a proficiency test on specific Sports Book wagering machines after a training period (preferred)
        Prior cash handling experience preferred (preferred)
        Must possess good math skills (preferred)
        Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software (preferred)
        Two years of supervisor's experience preferred (preferred)
        High School diploma or GED required (preferred)
