Job Description
Position Overview Metronome has an immediate need for a ServiceNow Architect who will be responsible for providing the overall guidance and structure for architecting, implementing, and maintaining innovative solutions and approaches. This position supports technical solution and development / implementation of solutions that leverage the OOTB ServiceNow modules and/ or scoped to migrate legacy applications to the DLA Enterprise ServiceNow platform. Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure all designs created by different teams align with ServiceNow architecture principles and are reusable, reliable, and adaptive. Act as the technical gateway between approved designs and project delivery teams, including project managers, business analysts, and developers. Provide insight and expertise into ServiceNow platform capabilities and roadmap. Perform ServiceNow analysis, architecture, and application development activities. Support requirements elicitation, design, development, testing, training, implementation, and go-live activities. Manage ServiceNow solution design, development, testing, and go-live support. Translate business and functional requirements into sustainable ServiceNow implementations. Work with project resources to define sustainment governance and operational transition processes. Work with technical SMEs to identify and refine data requirements. Provide guidance to convert requirements into design and migration activities. Work with customer SMEs and senior leadership to ensure system requirements are met. Present solution approaches and roadmaps to senior stakeholders. Ensure platform capabilities are efficiently and effectively utilized to achieve desired business outcomes. Support systems integration utilizing web services and related technologies. Participate throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, coding, testing, and production deployment.
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline, or ten (10) years of relevant experience. Five (5) years of total work experience. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD). ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and core concepts. Experience with ServiceNow APIs supporting low-code/no-code development. Knowledge of configuring ServiceNow to receive requests through an API Gateway using standard HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE). Experience developing application and process automation solutions. Experience working in agile and hybrid low-code development environments using ServiceNow Agile 2.0. Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML.
