Senior Operations Data Analyst 6 Months Oakland, CA, Hybrid ( once a month onsite) Local candidates only Equipment: Client laptop will be provided. Any other required tools must be provided by the vendor. Top Things Looking For Strong coding skills - Python, SQL, or similar Experience developing and maintaining ETL pipelines Strong communication skills - ability to clearly communicate data findings and recommendations Role Summary Provide analytics support for Client's NPA and Zonal Electrification programs, focused on accelerating building electrification, reducing the need for future gas infrastructure investments, and supporting long-term decarbonization goals. Key Responsibilities ETL Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain ETL data pipelines across multiple core data environments to identify, screen, and prioritize electrification opportunities across Client's system. New Data Sources: Recommend and integrate new data sources while improving existing data processes and pipeline capabilities. Process Automation: Create automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery, including accurate data manipulation and cleansing. Dashboards & Ad Hoc Analysis: Develop and communicate clear, concise, and actionable data analyses through dashboards and ad hoc reports. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum Experience 4+ years of related work experience Required / Desired Skills Advanced Python or similar programming languages for data analysis and automation Advanced SQL and database query languages for data extraction, transformation, and analysis Advanced experience designing and maintaining ETL processes for large datasets Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools GIS experience preferred Familiarity with utility operations Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate data findings effectively
