About the Role

As a Pre-Sales Solution Consultant within our Network & Issuing Payments organization, you will serve as a trusted advisor to prospective and existing clients by aligning business challenges with innovative payment solutions. You will partner closely with sales, product, implementation, and client stakeholders to develop solution strategies that drive growth, operational efficiency, customer engagement, fraud mitigation, and digital transformation.

This role requires a strong understanding of the evolving payments landscape and expertise across FIS's Network & Issuing portfolio, including Prepaid, Card Fraud, Chargebacks and Dispute Management, Digital Issuing, Loyalty & Rewards, NYCE, Payments Edge, and Ethos solutions.

Success in this role is measured by your ability to translate complex payment capabilities into compelling business value, influence solution adoption, accelerate sales cycles, and contribute to revenue growth. You will play a key role in educating clients, supporting strategic sales pursuits, and positioning FIS as an innovation leader in the payments ecosystem.

The ideal candidate combines deep payments expertise with creativity, storytelling, and digital content creation skills. You are comfortable developing engaging presentations, demonstrations, videos, and multimedia assets using AI-powered platforms such as Coast, Synthesia, and other emerging content technologies to create impactful customer experiences and elevate sales engagements.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Partner with sales teams to uncover client needs and develop tailored solution strategies across Network & Issuing Payments products and services.
  • Lead solution discovery sessions to understand business objectives, operational requirements, customer experience goals, and technical challenges.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, executive presentations, workshops, and solution reviews for prospective and existing clients.
  • Translate complex payment processing, card issuing, network, loyalty, fraud, and digital payment capabilities into business-focused value propositions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across:
    • Prepaid card programs
    • Card fraud prevention and risk management
    • Chargeback and dispute management
    • Digital card issuance and digital-first payment experiences
    • Loyalty and rewards solutions
    • NYCE network solutions
    • Payments Edge capabilities
    • Ethos platform offerings
  • Support proposal development, RFP responses, solution documentation, and competitive positioning throughout the sales cycle.
  • Assess solution fit, identify capability gaps, and recommend approaches that maximize client success and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with product, technology, implementation, and marketing teams to communicate market feedback and identify emerging client needs.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory developments, payment network requirements, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies impacting the payments ecosystem.
  • Design and develop reusable pre-sales assets, sales enablement materials, demonstrations, videos, interactive content, and solution collateral.
  • Leverage AI-powered content creation tools such as Coast, Synthesia, and similar platforms to create engaging customer-facing content, product explainers, demo videos, training materials, and multimedia presentations.
  • Apply creativity and storytelling techniques to transform complex payment concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with executives, business stakeholders, and technical audiences.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives by helping create innovative sales motions, thought leadership content, and differentiated client experiences.

What You Will Need

  • Experience supporting complex B2B sales pursuits within payments, banking, fintech, card issuing, or financial services environments.
  • Strong knowledge of card issuing, payment processing, network services, and payment ecosystem operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:
    • Prepaid programs
    • Card fraud prevention and mitigation
    • Chargeback and dispute management
    • Digital issuing
    • Loyalty and rewards programs
    • Debit network solutions
    • Payment acceptance and processing technologies
  • Understanding of risk management, compliance requirements, payment network rules, and fraud prevention strategies.
  • Ability to conduct solution discovery, assess business and technical requirements, and articulate solution value to diverse audiences.
  • Experience supporting sales efforts involving NYCE, Payments Edge, Ethos, or similar payments and network solutions.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, facilitation, and executive storytelling skills.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts and communicate them in a way that drives customer engagement and business value.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working across sales, product, technology, implementation, and leadership teams.
  • Experience creating presentations, demonstrations, videos, and digital sales content using modern content creation platforms.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing Coast, Synthesia, or comparable AI-powered content creation tools.
  • Demonstrated creativity with the ability to build engaging visual, video, and multimedia content that enhances customer conversations and sales outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a consultative, customer-focused approach.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of professional experience, industry expertise, and demonstrated capabilities.
  • Typically requires 3-5 years of relevant experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, payments, or a related field.

  • Direct experience supporting or selling:NYCE network services, Payments Edge solutions, Ethos capabilities, Loyalty and rewards platforms, Prepaid payment solutions, Card fraud and risk management products, Chargeback and dispute management solutions, or Digital issuing platforms
  • Experience creating professional demo videos, customer-facing content, digital campaigns, and multimedia sales assets using Coast, Synthesia, and generative AI technologies.
  • Proven ability to develop innovative sales enablement content that improves seller readiness and customer engagement.
  • Knowledge of digital wallets, tokenization, mobile payments, and emerging payment technologies.
  • Experience supporting strategic RFPs, competitive displacement opportunities, and large enterprise sales pursuits.
  • Familiarity with API-enabled payment platforms, fintech integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience creating scalable reusable sales assets, demo environments, and AI-generated customer content.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $161,090.00 - $273,860.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
