Your role
As the Trade Compliance Analyst you will support the Trade Compliance Manager by delivering critical analytical insights, aiding in day-to-day trade operations within the Air Compressor Business Area, and ensuring accurate and compliant import/export activities that align with all customs regulations within North and South America.This position is located in South Charlotte (About 3-4 miles from Carowinds). Education: A completed bachelor's degree in a relevant field * Licensed Customs Broker preferred Experience: * Minimum 2 years of experience in trade compliance or related role Strong understanding of customs regulations and HTS codes preferred * Hands-on knowledge and interest in PC applications, MS-office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) * Experience with SAP S/4 Hana, GTS, or other similar systems used in trade compliance management preferred * Experience of international transportation preferred * Experience of Mexican & Canadian custom regulations preferred Skills * Excellent written and verbal communication will be required to influence stakeholders and deliver positive change * Strong logical and analytical thinking will be needed to solve complex problems * Ability to quickly learn new proocesses and systems & develop and implement improvement opportunities In return, we offer
