Responsibilities

Foundations for living is a residential treatment center in Mansfield, Ohio, for youths aged 10-17. We provide trauma-informed care that supports emotional healing, personal growth, and academic success in a structured and compassionate environment. Our 84-bed facility is licensed to provide treatment for mental health and substance use disorders, including dependence. Through individualized support and evidence-based programming, we are committed to helping youth build stability, resilience, and hope for the future.

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility and ensuring the daily upkeep of all public areas. This position requires a proactive approach to completing cleaning tasks to the highest possible standards of quality. The Housekeeper also supports the facility's mission by helping to provide a safe, clean, and healing environment where residents feel empowered to recover from past wounds and build a foundation of hope for the future.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

* Maintains and exceeds Service Excellence standards by treating everyone as a guest, demonstrating professionalism and excellence in the role, and consistently practicing teamwork.

* Dust, vacuum and clean offices, hallways, lobby, entryway, restrooms, exam area, classrooms, nursing stations and client areas, including but not limited to supervisor, therapists, intake, CEO offices, Adams Hall, fourth floor meeting rooms, etc.

* Cleans and dust mops stairways, railings, heaters, cleans walls and vents, dusts equipment, floors (sweep/mop/buff/strip), and laundry as needed.

* Identifies maintenance needs while completing regularly assigned duties and promptly notifies Maintenance of any issues.

* Conducts weekly inventory of all facility cleaning and paper supplies and ensures all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained in proper working order as well as locked away from client access when not in direct use.

Job Type: Full-Time

Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm

Qualifications

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED with previous housekeeping experience in similar settings preferred.

* Valid State Driver's License.

* Certified in CPR, First Aid, and Handle with Care (Offered during New Hire Orientation)

* Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, and may have to climb, balance, stoop or kneel. The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
