About Our Bend Programs

Telecare operates three residential behavioral health programs in Bend, each designed to help adults living with serious mental illness build stability, strengthen recovery skills, and progress toward greater independence.

Edgecliff Residential Treatment House #206 is a five-bed residential program providing a stable, recovery-focused home environment for adults who need 24-hour supervision or support as they work toward more independent living.

12th Street House #207 is a five-bed residential program supporting adults who benefit from 24-hour supervision and psychiatric recovery assistance while preparing for greater independence.

Deschutes Recovery Center #208 is a 16-bed residential treatment program providing a safe, structured environment for adults with serious mental illness, including individuals transitioning from the Oregon State Hospital or other secure settings into community-based care.

Across all three programs, our goal is to help residents strengthen recovery, increase independence, reduce unnecessary hospitalization, and successfully live within their communities.

A Different Kind of Behavioral Health Nursing

Residential behavioral health gives nurses an opportunity to see recovery beyond the walls of an acute hospital.

Our Bend programs serve individuals who may be transitioning from hospitals, secure treatment settings, or other higher levels of care. Rather than focusing primarily on short-term stabilization, our teams help residents develop the skills, confidence, health practices, and support systems needed to move toward greater independence.

For an RN coming from inpatient psychiatric nursing, this can be an opportunity to use your behavioral health expertise in a different way - with greater continuity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the ability to see the longer-term impact of your work.
