We are seeking a confident, relationship-oriented Corporate Access Specialist to join our Global Corporate Access team covering the Americas (North and South America). In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to internal investment professionals (portfolio managers and research analysts) by facilitating targeted engagement with corporate management teams, Investor Relations (IR) professionals, industry experts, and key market participants.

This is a high-visibility, net-new position created to support expanding workload and coverage. As a Specialist, you will focus on 1 to 2 key industry sectors (such as Industrials, Small Cap, or related coverage areas), serving as a trusted bridge between C-suite leadership and our investment research process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Development & Management: Cultivate and strengthen strategic relationships with CEOs, CFOs, IR directors, sell-side partners, and third-party expert providers. Confidently articulate our long-term investment philosophy to build trust and expand engagement opportunities.
  • Investment Partnering: Develop a clear understanding of portfolio managers' and research analysts' coverage priorities. Proactively identify, originate, and suggest high-impact management meetings, site visits, conferences, expert interactions, and field trips.
  • Origination & Execution: Independently source, organize, and navigate complex scheduling and stakeholder dynamics for corporate access events. Partner with internal meeting planners to ensure seamless execution.
  • Global & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with regional Corporate Access colleagues across North America, Europe, and Asia, as well as internal teams including Compliance, Research Data Services, Technology, and Sales.
  • Platform & Data Management: Maintain accurate tracking and activity metrics within CorpAxe and internal research systems. Leverage modern productivity and AI-driven platforms to streamline workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5 to 8+ years of direct experience in Corporate Access, Investor Relations, Equity Research / Sell-Side Research, Institutional Sales, or Investment Banking within financial services or asset management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of capital markets, public company corporate structures, and the investment research lifecycle. Sector expertise in Industrials or Small Cap is a plus.
  • Executive Presence: Proven track record of interacting directly with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders with high professional maturity, poise, and discretion.
  • Adaptability & Drive: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, research-driven environment. Comfortable taking initiative, managing competing priorities, navigating rejection, and swiftly pivoting strategies.
  • Technical & Platform Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Experience with industry platforms such as CorpAxe, CapIQ, Bloomberg, FactSet, or SAP FIQ.
    • Familiarity with AI tools and workflow assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to optimize productivity.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required. CFA (or progress toward), Investor Relations Certificate (IRC), MBA, or relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
  • Travel: Travel within the U.S. and Canada is optional and not expected immediately, but may occur as client engagement evolves.
