Our banking client has engaged us to help recruit for a large-scale financial services project. We are looking for talented accounting and finance professionals who have regulatory reporting and SEC reporting experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for performing the day- to-day financial reporting and schedule preparation.
  • Routine communication with Supervisors relating to financial close, issues and deliverables.
  • Prepare schedules and related workpapers in support of the quarterly OCC, Federal Reserve and SEC filings, including the FR Y-9C, FR Y-9LP, FFIEC 041 Call Reports filing, ensuring compliance consistent with the Company's control environment.
  • Prepare all Financial Reporting requirements package.
  • Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules.
  • Prepare the regulatory capital ratios in accordance with regulatory requirements. Analyze and explain differences period over period for reporting to senior management.
  • Review and research accounting transactions to correct errors.
  • Monitor external changes to GAAP and RAP as well as internal changes resulting from business transactions that impact regulatory reporting and execute the regulatory change management procedures, including managing and executing the implementation of new financial reporting requirements.
  • Communicate and escalate issues to Management Team as required.
  • Maintain policies and procedures and utilize best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent combination of experience and education;
  • Extensive SEC/bank regulatory reporting accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel (must have)

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
