This is a job posting for postdoctoral positions working in the research groups of faculty in the Department of Chemistry on the UMN Twin Cities campus. This is a standing posting to remain open throughout the 2024-2025 academic year. This posting is not regularly monitored for applications. Applicants will be contacted by the department if they are being considered for an open position. Postdoctoral Associates conduct research or service that provides further development of career skills or allows them opportunities to learn new research techniques. They are trained and work in conjunction with a faculty mentor who determines the training agenda. Post-Doctoral Associates may supervise research assistants and laboratory personnel. They assist in development, interpretations and implementation of policies, guidelines and procedures. General advising and counseling not connected with specific coursework. Conducting institutional and inter-institutional policy and planning reviews. Providing resource support for committees. Collecting and analyzing data. Keeping records. Preparing reports.
