Reporting to the Director, Sponsored Programs and Research (OSPAR), and a dotted reporting line to the Assistant Controller, the Grants Finance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing post-award grants management for Principal Investigators (PIs) within the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research (OSPAR). The Post-Award Grants Finance Specialist works closely with researchers and stakeholders across the University to ensure compliance with government and private funding agency policies, managing financial aspects such as grant purchase request review, account reconciliation, grant deposits, monitoring funding and expenditures, preventing overdrafts, and reviewing financial reports. Responsibilities
To ensure compliance with applicable guidelines and policies, the incumbent is responsible for reviewing Notices of Award upon receipt, communicating key terms and conditions to PIs, and providing accurate guidance to PIs on cost principles, throughout the life of the award.

New York Tech considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and/or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer. Minimum Salary USD $70,000.00/Yr. Maximum Salary USD $80,000.00/Yr. |
