Divisional Chief, Hematology/Oncology

NYU Grossman School of Medicine, an affiliate of Woodhull Medical Center is currently seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Divisional Chief of Hematology and Oncology.

We are looking for a passionate and energetic clinician who is board certified in Hematology and Oncology, with a sub-specialty expertise in either hematologic malignancies or solid tumors. The successful candidate will develop and implement a strategic vision for patient-oriented cancer care services, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based treatment and cancer screening within the community.

This physician leader will collaborate with the hospital's clinical and administrative leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and effective care in a welcoming, patient-centric environment. Candidates must have demonstarted leadership experience within a community cancer center, proven success collaborating with multidisicplinary teams, and a commitment to research and clinical missions.

Candidates with existing ties to the community or interest in creating community relationships are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, and clinical care.

Responsibilities include:

* Create and execute the strategic vision for cancer care services for this region, including cancer screening, clinical, patient experience, and financial metrics.

* Create, lead, and direct a patient-centered, multidisciplinary clinical care program for cancer care services and clinical education.

* Expand the number of patients served by the medical center and the range of cancer care services.

* Advocate for and enable interdepartmental and interdisciplinary clinical services.

* The selected candidate will examine, and diagnose disorders and diseases of the blood, bone marrow, vascular and immune system.

* Consult with patients to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition.

We offer a competitive compensation package and a stimulating work environment, including:

* Annual Base Salary: $330,000-$335,000, with total compensation including bonuses ranging from $330,000-$360,000

* 403B/457 participation inclusive of a 10% employer contribution with no employee match required

* Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement ranging from $3000-$3500 inclusive of one week of paid CME time

* Projected annual revenue sharing payments of up to $30,000 contingent upon meeting required productivity and compliance metrics
