Sentara Halifax Community Health is now hiring a PART-TIME Mobile Car Van Driver in South Boston, VA.

This position is flexi, up to 4 hours per week. Weekend availability is required.

**A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD IS REQUIRED. A COPY OF YOU MOTOR VEHICLE RECORD IS WILL BE REQUESTED UPON HIRE.**

BUS DRIVING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

As a Mobile Care Van Driver with Sentara, you will be a part of a unique collaboration of providing care throughout the community. You will be responsible for driving the RV/Bus throughout the South Boston area, transporting a team of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Active Driver's License required, CDL preferred
  • High School or Equivalent required
  • BUS DRIVING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Job Summary

Responsible for driving, picking up, transporting, and/or returning within the assigned Service Area. Drivers are responsible for on-time arrival and set up of mobile medical unit and must comply with all the rules of the Department of Transportation. Keep accurate records of their hours and miles driven, fuel their trucks and inspect them daily. Assist with operating mobile unit as needed. Adhere to all company policies, state and local laws.

Ensure adherence to safety rules and provide security protocols while in service areas as appropriate.

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required) CDL Class A License - Certification - North Carolina, CDL Class A License - Certification - Other/National, CDL Class A License - Certification - Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (VDMV) Bus Driving Experience
