Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in southcentral Wisconsin and northern Illinois, is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our Neonatal/Labor & Delivery team at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville, WI.

Opportunity:

  • Join an excellent team of experienced physicians, a strong RN staff, and other support staff
  • Primary work location is Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center - Janesville in L&D providing in house Peds/NB Nursery rounds; with rotation to Javon Bea Hospital - Riverside NICU
  • Shift time NIGHTS 7:00p-7:00a, may slightly change based on the needs of department
  • 3 12-hours shifts Mon-Wed, following week 2 12-hour shifts Thurs-Fri, every other Saturday - GREAT for work/life balance!

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work well independently and under pressure.
  • Strong communication/interpretive and analytical skills.
  • A high level of independent judgment and ability to handle empowerment for independent action.
  • Ability to pass the Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check and/or Illinois Health Care Worker's Background Check.

Education/Licensure:

  • Graduate of an accredited MSN program
  • IL and WI Licensing required and credentialing at Mercyhealth
  • Current DEA number
  • ATLS certification
  • Other certifications as required
