Your Day-to-Day
- Coordinate required tasks/deadlines. Escalate issues to appropriate levels of management.
- Collect and input schedule updates on a weekly / bi-weekly basis.
- Analyze variances to critical path and recommend mitigation techniques as applicable.
- Initiate and plan all controls aspects of a project, which includes, but is not limited to project baselines. Apply tools and techniques to plan work such that inefficiencies are reduced, and overall project performance is optimized. Apply schedule analytics to confirm validity of plan.
- Lead schedule activities. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements to functional groups. Process subsequent changes following an integrated change control process.
- Analyze cost expenditure forecasts and progress evaluations/projections (including Estimate at Completion updates and Earned Value Management) to support project performance and financial reporting requirements. Review project expenditures for compliance with project baselines and scope. Promote teamwork and effective communication, which includes maintenance and dissemination of project metrics to ensure team, customer, and all stakeholders are kept informed of project status. Develop or oversee project databases, systems and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project.
- Serve as project controls point of contact for internal customers in support of the project. Integrate project's objectives and actions through participation with other project groups in matters of common concern.
- Identify, assess, and implement value-added improvement opportunities which will improve overall project performance. Create and administer lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance.
- 10 years of project controls or accounting experience with increased levels of complexity.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and solve high-level problems. Proven ability to analyze information and engage in complex decision making.
- Westinghouse Program Controls qualification (PgCQ) completed. For external candidate, will complete PgCQ within designated timeframe.

- Strong Excel Skills
- Mastery of Project Management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide) or equivalent Project Management or Project Controls standards (e.g. APMG, PRINCE2, AACE, etc).
- Excellent interpersonal skills such as the ability to deliver internal and external presentations, effective verbal and written communications, ability to operate and lead within complex team structures and multi-cultural teams, ability to develop relationships with stakeholders in upper management positions, ability to analyze problems, establish facts, and make complex decisions autonomously.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Expert knowledge and skill in project schedule, cost and risk management processes and associated tools (e.g., Primavera/MSP, SAP, Active Risk Manager, Acumen Fuse, PRISM, Power BI/Tableau or other related tools).
- Mastery of the transformation of data to information for visual reports and analysis, understand database concepts in order to manage/analyze data within systems, understand the interaction of company functions that are touch points to projects (Finance, Legal, Quality, Supply Chain, etc.). Ability to develop and present high-quality, audience-appropriate presentations.
