Headquartered in Fargo, North Dakota, Wanzek was founded on heavy/civil and concrete construction projects. By 2000, Wanzek established a large crane service division and a resume of projects for industrial and renewable clients across the Midwest. In 2008, MasTec, Inc. acquired Wanzek, providing continued growth and synergy in Wanzek’s future. Wanzek is a platform company within the MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure Group but retains its name, culture and operating structure.
